We woke up this morning at 6 AM (Noon back home). I feel MUCH better today.
After slowly getting ready (and posting 3 blog entries), we headed downstairs to have breakfast at Swan Court. It's a grouping of tables and chairs that opens up to a waterfall and a manmade pool. There are birds flying everywhere, so you have to watch your food. It was beautiful, but we only had my camera phone and its pictures weren't the best. The buffet is excellent and we top it off with a couple mimosas.
After breakfast, we head out to the pool for a bit and soak in the sun. Not wanting to burn (at all), I put on SPF 50 and cover myself with towels. :) Holly, of course, is tanning beautifully.
We get room service for a late lunch and lounge in our room until it's time to get ready for dinner.
For our tenth anniversary dinner, we go to The Plantation House restaurant where Holly reserved us a window seat facing the sunset. Even with the cloud cover, it was amazing. And the food. Wow! The food was spectacular. I got scallops and Holly got Papillo Oscar. We shared a bottle of Gunderloch "Jean Baptiste" Reisling, which we enjoyed very much. I wonder what Gary thinks of that one.
When we returned to the hotel, we hung out at a hotel bar, sitting outside. It was nice and relaxing.
Then, we called it a night. That's all for Day 3.
I would like to add that I'm very, very lucky to have found such an amazing woman. For 10 years, Holly has put up with me and loved me more than I thought possible. I only hope that I can make her as happy as she constantly makes me. (awww!!!)
